Our Studio policies

Registration for the regular dance season begins in July for classes starting in September.

• New student registrations are accepted through December
• Registration closes February 1st to allow time to prepare for the annual recital in June

An annual registration fee is charged at the time of registration. 

Regular attendance is important for both individual progress and class collaboration.

• If a dancer will be absent, please notify the studio on or before the day of the class.
• Make-up classes may be arranged with the Studio Director or instructor when available.

Please note: No refunds or adjustments are given for missed classes. 

If you wish to discontinue a class, the studio requires written or email notice.

• Notice must be submitted at least 14 days before the 1st of the following month
• Discontinuations take effect at the end of the current month
• Phone calls cannot be accepted as official cancellation notice
• Tuition and fees remain the responsibility of the family until written notice is received

After January 1, cancellations will be reviewed case by case with the Studio Director. 

The studio opens 15 minutes before the first scheduled class and closes 15 minutes after the final class.

For safety:

• Do not drop off children if the studio doors are locked
• Children must be picked up promptly at end of the class
• Late pickups incur a $5 per minute babysitting fee
• Parents are responsible for supervising children before and after class

Children 11 years and older may enter the building independently. Written permission is required if a child will be leaving the building alone after class. 

To maintain a positive and respectful environment:

• Students should arrive on time and prepared for class
• Respect, kindness, and support are expected from dancers and parents
• Food and gum are not permitted in the studio (water only)
• The lobby should remain a quiet space during classes
• Parents must remain in the lobby area unless otherwise invited

Parents are not permitted inside the dance room during class sessions. Each December, we host a Parent Observation Day where families are invited to observe class.

Make-up classes will be determined by the Studio Director on a case-by-case basis.
