Embrace Dance Company officially launched in July 2024, founded on Kendra’s vision to foster a program centered on community, character, and confidence. With over 20 years of experience in the competitive dance world—as both a dancer and a coach—Kendra led Embrace’s competition team to win 1st place at a national competition during its very first season. She remains dedicated to inspiring her students and helping them grow into confident, capable young individuals through the art of dance.

Kendra graduated from Stockton University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in Business. While at Stockton, she performed in and choreographed numerous showcases. Her training spans a wide range of styles including ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz, pointe, and hip-hop, and she has studied at esteemed institutions such as New

Kendra began dancing at the age of 3 and has been teaching for over 15 years. Her teaching experience includes students as young as 3 through to the college level. She has also had the opportunity to share her passion for dance with both children and adults with special needs. Her teaching journey began through a YMCA program, and in 2024, she fulfilled a longtime dream by opening her own studio.

Shannon graduated Drew University, class of 2023, with a Theater Art major and a Dance minor. She has been dancing for 20 years, starting in recreational dance classes for 2 years and then continuing in studio dance classes until senior year of high school, learning tap, jazz, and ballet. She continued studying dance in college as a dance

She has been dancing for 20 years, starting in recreational dance classes for 2 years and then continuing in studio dance classes until senior year of high school, learning tap, jazz, and ballet. She continued studying dance in college as a dance minor taking many styles of dance classes, but most importantly falling in love with choreography - ultimately choreographing six of Drew’s dance productions.
Along with dance classes Shannon has performed in many musicals during her time studying theater including Mary Poppins, Cinderella, and Pippin. She has taken school choir for 9 years and was a part of the co-ed a cappella group on campus and served 2 years as president.

Lily has been dancing for 16 years and enjoys all styles, with a special love for jazz. However, her favorite style to teach is acro. With a background in gymnastics spanning 5 years, she’s eager to share her experience and skills with her students. Lila is thrilled to be a part of Embrace Dance Company and can't wait to begin teaching!
Embrace Dance Company is a 1,984-square-foot studio located on the second floor of the Riverwalk Village Center, surrounded by a variety of shops and dining options just steps away for parents and families to enjoy.
Our facility is designed with dancer safety and growth in mind, featuring specialized flooring to help reduce injuries while supporting a wide range of dance styles. Equipped with mirrors, a high-quality sound system, and event lighting, our space creates an inspiring environment where dancers can learn, grow, and express themselves.
Dancers and families have access to a shared locker room for convenience, as well as a comfortable lobby where parents can relax during class. Whether staying in-studio or exploring the surrounding shops and restaurants, Embrace Dance Company offers a welcoming and vibrant experience for everyone.
